That was the big picture.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Today, we\u2019re zooming in on something foundational which is deciding what your webinar should actually be about. People get more stuck here than anywhere else. Most of us overthink it when the truth is far simpler.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A great webinar topic is built around a real problem your audience has.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You don\u2019t need to be clever.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You don\u2019t need to sound smart.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You just need to speak clearly to the right people at the right time.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I\u2019ve hosted thousands of webinars and watched thousands more inside EasyWebinar over the last decade. Here\u2019s what I\u2019ve seen over and over:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Step 1: Begin with your story, but make it relevant to your audience<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Before you start brainstorming titles, just pause and ask yourself, why do you do what you do\u2026Your why isn\u2019t a branding slogan. It\u2019s the fuel behind your story, and the story is the heart of a great webinar.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You don\u2019t need to be a natural storyteller.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Your story is already there:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The mistakes you made<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The pain you went through<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The turning point<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The wins and lessons you pulled out of it<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">That\u2019s what people connect with<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Your story isn\u2019t there to make you look good. It&#8217;s there so your audience can see themselves in you.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Step 2: Understand who you\u2019re talking to<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A good webinar topic starts with- who am I talking to, and where are they right now.&nbsp;<\/span>Most of your ideal audience is a few steps behind you. Faces problems you\u2019ve already solved. Is frustrated by things you\u2019ve already figured out<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Maybe:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You cracked Facebook traffic, and they haven\u2019t<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You figured out how to land clients, and they\u2019re stuck in DMs<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You\u2019ve run webinars, and they\u2019re terrified to do their first one<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You don\u2019t need 20 years of expertise. Sometimes 6 months of focused experience is enough, as long as you teach what you\u2019ve actually lived and tested yourself.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Never teach what you don\u2019t know. Teach what you\u2019ve done. That alone keeps your webinars real and trustworthy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Step 3: What do they need that you can provide<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Now ask yourself two simple questions:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What pain were you in before you figured this out?<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What solution did you find (or build) that helped you move forward?<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">That\u2019s your angle. Your audience is sitting in that pain right now. Your webinar topic should live at the intersection of their current problem and the solution or shift you can help them make<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The topic isn\u2019t random. It comes directly from their pain, your experience, and the transformation between the two. That is the entire game.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Step 4: Build your customer avatar without overcomplicating it<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A customer avatar is just a detailed description of one ideal person you\u2019re talking to. Not entrepreneurs or business owners. One person. Because when you know who you\u2019re talking to, everything gets easier:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Your webinar title<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Your hooks<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Your examples<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Your offer<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Here are 7 simple elements to build your avatar:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Demographics<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Age range<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Gender<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Location\/time zone<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Income level<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Job or profession<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Stage of business or career<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It helps you picture them when you teach. You\u2019re not talking to the internet. You\u2019re talking to one specific person sitting across from you, asking for help.<\/span><\/p>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li><b> Pain points &amp; fears<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Say these out loud in your webinar. Show them you understand. Offer a path forward. If your webinar doesn\u2019t tap into real pain, it won\u2019t convert, no matter how nice your content is.<\/span><\/p>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li><b> Day-to-day challenges<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Think human, not buyer persona. When you understand their daily reality, you can design a realistic topic. Handle objections in advance and show how your approach fits into real life.<\/span><\/p>\n<ol start=\"4\">\n<li><b> Goals<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Your webinar topic should bridge the gap between the current struggle &amp; the desired outcome.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Talk about what they actually want- more clients, predictable revenue, quit their 9-5, work less, earn more.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Eg- <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Grow your email list and book clients using webinars without posting every single day.<\/span><\/p>\n<ol start=\"5\">\n<li><b> Values<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This is about trust. People don\u2019t just buy tactics. People buy from people who feel like their kind of person.<\/span><\/p>\n<ol start=\"6\">\n<li><b> Input sources<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Know the source of their learning, is it through podcasts, YouTube channels, books, certain <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">gurus<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">! This tells you what they\u2019ve heard, what they assume, where you can correct misconceptions. Your webinar doesn\u2019t exist in a vacuum. It joins a conversation already happening in their head.<\/span><\/p>\n<ol start=\"7\">\n<li><b> Sales objections<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Address objections early, in your story, in your teaching, in your offer. When you do this upfront, the sales part of your webinar feels natural.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Now that you\u2019ve got all these pieces, your webinar topic becomes much clearer.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ask yourself:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Who is my ideal person?<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What painful problem are they in right now?<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What can help them get unstuck?<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What specific outcome can I help them reach in 30-45 minutes?<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Then shape your topic on this simple formula<\/b>&#8211; How to [solve painful problem] so you can [hit desired outcome], without [fear or objection].<\/p>\n<p>Try this exercise. Grab a notebook, Google Doc, or the avatar PDF and:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><b> Write out your customer avatar<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Demographics<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pain points<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Daily challenges<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Goals<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Values<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Input sources<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Objections<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li><b>Brainstorm 3-5 webinar topics based on:<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Their pain<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Your experience<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The transformation<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li><b>Circle the one that:<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Excites you. Feels relevant to them. You can actually deliver. That\u2019s your working topic.
